A chaplain leaves the Ellicott School District administrative offices during the first day back to school after Ellicott Middle School principal Diane Garduno was killed in a head-on collision, on Monday, November 27, 2017. Ellicott School District Superintendent Christopher Smith said that 25 counselors where available that day to help students.
