Brother Alphonse prays in a pew while the Abbey's Superior, Father Alberic, prays on a mat behind him. Father Alberic is a Trappist Monk and Brother Alphonse is a Cistercian, the two orders coming together at Assumption Abbey after the founding Trappists grew too old to accept novices.
